Dufour 430 Grand Large is a 43-foot modern performance cruising sailboat designed by the renowned Umberto Felci and built by France’s Dufour Yachts. The 2019 build year introduced a completely redesigned hull that carries its wide beam far forward. This structural shift drastically expands interior volume. Thanks to Felci's refined water lines, a flatter hull shape, and modern sail ratios, the boat responds exceptionally well in light-to-moderate air, handling easily with short-handed crews due to its optional self-tacking jib configuration. It successfully blends a spacious, comfort-first interior with a highly responsive hull design, earning it a nomination for Cruising World's Boat of the Year and later winning European Yacht of the Year (Best Family Cruiser) in 2020.
